PRO Tankring

The PRO tank ring for the Honda CMX500 Rebel model is located on a motorcycle-specific mounting element, which is then attached to two tank filler necks. The mounting piece is securely bolted to the motorcycle tank.

The QUICK-LOCK tank ring mechanism from SW-MOTECH, which has been tested and proven for many years, can now be operated even more easily thanks to the magnetic guidance support from Fidlock technology. The positioning of the upper ring has been significantly improved: the sliding upper ring is already pre-assembled on the bag with a guide rail, and the bag does not need to be drilled.

In this way, the upper ring can be adapted to the guide rail on the bottom of the tank bag. Once the correct position is found, the upper ring is securely bolted. When switching to another motorcycle, the position of the upper ring can be adjusted accordingly.

The magnetic guidance, developed by Fidlock, complements the already advanced mechanical locking system SW-MOTECH QUICK-LOCK: the magnets guide the upper ring to the correct position on the tank ring, and the lock securely snaps into place. The strength of the magnets supports the placement of the bag on the tank. Attach the bag to the tank in one simple step and ride off - your belongings are safe with this clever solution.

The mechanical locking mechanism secures the bag, and the magnets connect both parts of the ring together. The robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic with highly precise locking geometry ensures that the bag stays securely in place in all situations.
