Koch Chemie Hand Wax W0.01 is a premium wax; designed for waxing painted car body parts. The product contains high quality carnauba wax; which protects and preserves the treated surfaces in the long term. It is designed for all types and shades of paintwork. The preservative components create a smooth and glossy hydrophilic surface. The paint surface will remain high gloss with bright colours. Hand Wax W0.01 is applied in a fine layer; therefore, only a small amount of product is required.

With one pack you will treat about 25 vehicles.

Instructions for use :

1. Before polishing, the vehicle must be thoroughly washed with an alkaline product (e.g. Green Star universal). Do not use any shampoos with wax. In case; the vehicle surface is dirty with rust; tree resin or asphalt, use CLAY - Reinigungsknete blau - cleaning plasticine blue no. 183001 for cleaning.

2 To preserve heavily to moderately weathered paintwork; then, depending on the condition of the paintwork, re-polish the paintwork with Heavy Cut Paste (H9.01) or Fine Cut (F6.01) (see information on Heavy Cut H9.01 and Fine CUT F6.01). Remove any paste residue with a microfibre cloth. For slightly weathered paint and to remove holograms, use Micro Cut M3.02 and a forced-rotation polisher (e.g. Makita PO5000C; see Micro Cut M3.02 product information). Remove paste residue with a microfibre cloth. The surface to be treated needs to be clean before applying Hand Wax W0.01. Therefore, use a silicone remover; when using this product and a micro-phase cloth, wipe all surfaces with a little pressure. Then wipe the surfaces dry with another dry micro-phase wipe. This removes all tensides; waxes; oils and dirt from the surface. Caution: for sensitive varnishes, dilute 1:4 with water; to prevent possible dulling of the varnish. The varnish should now be free from scratches and holograms when inspected in sunlight or daylight. After this step, the varnish must no longer be touched with hands/fingers. Wear gloves; to avoid cross-linking problems . The surface is now ready for hand waxing.

3. We can then proceed to apply the wax. To apply the wax - lightly press the supplied sponge into the can and spread the wax evenly over the area to be treated. Allow the wax to air out and polish with a micro-phase cloth. It is always better to divide large areas into several sections and then proceed further.

4. Washing the vehicle To ensure that your vehicle's paintwork retains a long-lasting high-gloss finish and that you do not remove it too quickly when washing the vehicle; wash the vehicle carefully by hand. Use plenty of water and shampoo NanoMagic Shampoo; soft washing tools and use only soft dry cloths to gently dry the surface. Hard and aggressive washing aids remove waxes faster and will scratch the surface. If you wash your vehicle in a car wash, use only car washes with fabric brushes.
