This conversion kit fits all Pre-1977 K model and XL Sportsters that are still equipped with the stock early style loose ball bearings. This kit is used to replace the OEM style loose ball bearing system and convert it to the newer tapered style 45586-78 XL Sportster frame neck bearings.
