At the beginning of October 2019, at Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach, Florida, Michelin unveiled the latest addition to the V-twin tire range - Commander III Touring. The new custom tire was introduced at Harley-Davidson by Bruce Rossmeier. The MICHELIN® Commander® III Touring tire is designed for excellent wet grip without compromising longevity compared to its predecessor. In a press release, Michelin North America CEO Shane Messner said: "Michelin experts developed this tire range to optimize riding pleasure. They focused on improving tread grip and wet performance compared to the well-known Commander II tires."
