The CX files monoshock conversion kit CRH01911_192119-830_ALU-RED for Honda CX 500 78-84 twinshock bikes. This kit contains a Topline full custom YSS Nitro gas supported shock absorber MZ366-TRL. The custom shock is specifically developed for this purpose and is adjustable on spring preload, rebound damping and rideheight. It is fully serviceable and has clear anodized aluminium parts with a powdercoated spring in gloss RAL3020 red. The baseplate is made of 4mm thick raw, umpainted steel, lasered to shape. It places directly on top of the rear swing arm. It has a 4mm thick steel bracket TIG welded on it. Top mounting 4mm thick steel bracket. 2 high strength stainless steel bolts M10 with flange. 2 high strength stainless steel nuts M10 with flange.The baseplate as well as the topmounting must be welded to the rear swingarm and main frame. We recommend that you leave the welding up to a professional. The placing of the baseplate shows itself, it has the exact shape of the location it must be welded to. By varying the height placement of the top mounting, you can choose you own ride-height. We recommend you to stay close to the standard geometry.
