3M 30662 Trizact Hookit Foam Sanding Disc P5000 Ø150 mm

3M™ Trizact™ Hookit™ 30662 P5000 Ø150 mm is a professional foam sanding disc designed for the final smoothing of sanding marks before polishing automotive paint. It is used as the next step after sanding with the Trizact™ P3000 disc and significantly reduces the time needed for subsequent polishing.

The patented 3M™ Trizact™ technology uses three-dimensional precisely shaped abrasive structures that gradually renew during use. This allows the disc to maintain stable abrasive performance, create an exceptionally fine abrasive pattern, and ensure long durability.

The P5000 grit is intended to remove marks left by P3000 sanding. The result is a smooth surface ready for quick final polishing with minimal use of polishing compound and significantly shorter working time.

The sanding disc is used moistened with water, which reduces abrasive clogging, extends its lifespan, and achieves a more consistent result. The foam backing ensures even pressure distribution, excellent conformity to curved surfaces, and better control during sanding.

Thanks to the 3M™ Hookit™ system, the disc is easily attached to the backing pad using hook and loop fasteners, making replacement quick and convenient. The 150 mm diameter is suitable for professional random orbital sanders used in paint shops, body repair workshops, and detailing studios.

Recommended Use

After removing damage with the Trizact™ P3000 disc, use the P5000 disc moistened with water. Work with low pressure and even movements. After sanding, finish the surface with a suitable finishing polishing compound and a soft polishing pad.

Warning: When sanding edges and embossments, work carefully to avoid sanding through the paint layer.
