Compact peak voltage tester with dual display. It ensures faster, easier and more reliable diagnosis of all types of ignition system.

Ignition pulses are of short duration, high voltage that can damage even good digital multimeters, while the IgnitionMate is specially designed to measure and dynamically display both direct and secondary ignition signals in a highly efficient form.

The use of this universal tool is based on two basic points:

Different ignition types have the same basic components with the same measured signals.
Disassembly of the ignition system into individual components is not required. (In case of faulty contact or connection.)

The IgnitionMate measures three different ignition system signals:

Select the orange scale 10, 40 or 400Vpk and use the RED and BLACK probes to measure the primary signal between the ICU control unit and the power source. current (battery or supply coil), advance pulse (pulse sensor), ignition coil and switches (ignition switch box, engine switch, side stand switch, etc.)

Select the YELLOW scale 10, 20, 40 kV and use the clamp probe to measure the high voltage between the inductor and the spark plug.

Use the +/- switch to determine the polarity of the high voltage signal. By default, a single-output inductor has a negative signal, and a dual-output inductor gives a negative and a positive signal.

Select the RED scale to measure the regularity of the high voltage signal and determine the misfiring.

The 20kV YELLOW scale on the left is relevant for the comparison between the secondary kV and primary signals as measured on the ORANGE scale on the right.

A double column graph of luminous LEDs enables the simultaneous measurement of two independent signals. This will significantly narrow the area with a potential problem.

The easy-to-use high voltage clamp probe wraps around the high voltage spark plug wire to measure voltage up to 40kV and current continuity.

Spark plug energy monitoring allows for irregular ignition to be detected. Stable spark plug energy indicates good ignition condition and good fuel mixture composition.
