The French tire giant Michelin came to the market for their anniversary with new models - Michelin Road 6 and Road 6 GT. Compared to the previous model Michelin Road 5, it is primarily a 15% improvement in wet grip, and a 10% higher tread life - without reducing dry grip or compromising handling, or stability. Softer layer on the edges, and harder in the center - previously exclusively reserved only for rear tires. As for wet grip, the new tread design using X-Sipe technology helps to better drain water from the contact area, and Water Evergrip ensures proper tire function even after partial wear. The Michelin Road 6 model also received a new dual-layer 2CT+ compound, which the manufacturer calls Silica Rain Technology, for better wet performance throughout the tire's life. High mileage and excellent cornering grip, during hard braking, or aggressive acceleration. The improved Road 6 GT model differs from the regular "six" with an extra added layer of compound based on Reinforced Radial-X Evo technology, previously known as 2AT, making it suitable primarily for heavier grand touring bikes. For the sidewalls, the French used another proprietary technology, this time Premium Touch, incorporating elements from ultra-high-performance tires for sport bikes, including the so-called microgeometry of the sidewalls, creating, in simple terms, certain textures highlighting the attractiveness of their surface. No customer reviews for the moment.
