3M 02087 Trizact abrasive foam disc P3000 Ø75 mm

3M™ Trizact™ Hookit™ 443SA P3000 (02087) is a professional foam sanding disc designed for the final surface refinement after automotive paint repair. It represents an ideal intermediate step between traditional sanding and subsequent machine polishing.

The 3M™ Trizact™ technology uses precisely shaped abrasive structures that ensure an even and consistent sanding effect. The disc creates a fine and regular abrasion, which shortens the subsequent polishing process and reduces the consumption of polishing compound.

The disc is suitable for wet sanding of automotive paints and is mainly used to refine marks from previous sanding with grit approximately P1500 to P2000. After use, it leaves the surface ready for quick and effective final polishing.

Thanks to the flexible foam backing, the disc adapts well to the shape of the sanded part, distributes pressure evenly, and helps limit the formation of deep sanding scratches. The smaller diameter of 75 mm is ideal for repairing localized damage, sanding smaller areas, and working in hard-to-reach places.

Recommended Use

Use the disc moistened with water to refine marks from previous sanding. Keep the surface and disc clean during work and regularly check the sanding result. After achieving an even matte surface, continue with a suitable polishing compound and polishing pad.

Warning: When sanding edges, embossments, and areas with thinner paint layers, work carefully and with minimal pressure.
